Great Smoothie Recipe
Fall doesn't generally make you dream of smoothies, but this recipe from the Mom-a-licious cookbook is a great snack no matter what time of the day it is.
Blueberry & Flaxseed Smoothie
1 cup fresh or organic frozen blueberries (or peaches, raspberries, & strawberries)
1 frozen banana
1 ½ cups pomegranate or other unsweetened fruit juice
½ cup plain organic kefir or plain yogurt
1 tablespoon ground flaxseed
Put everything into the blender and enjoy!
