Disability or Not, Fun is for Everyone!
Cozy cabins nestled among tall pines. Children’s laughter echoing across the waters of a cool lake. Kids, adults and families enjoying nature, themselves and each other. Welcome to Partners Ranch!
Located 22 miles north of Beaumont near the town of Evadale, FM 1131 gently winds through the pines to this secluded, recreational respite. The rustic lodge and cabins, swimming pool, athletic fields, campsites and lake will host year round programs and events for individuals and families with all types of disabilities.
“No one with a disability who lives in Southeast Texas should miss the chance to enjoy recreational activities their disability,” says Janice Meyer, Executive Director of Partners Resource Network. Thanks to Partners Ranch, no child will have to.
While there are similar camps in distant parts of the State, there is no facility in a 16 county region that meets the needs that Partners Ranch will meet. In our are, there are approximately 22,000 children and youth with disabilities and another 5,500 adults with severe disabilities. Due to the lack of a local facility and their challenging needs, an entire segment of the population is often excluded from participation in typical outdoor activities. Partners Ranch will offer each an unforgettable experience in a safe, accepting environment. Activities will include summer camp, respite, family retreats, fishing, horseback riding, swimming, family festivals and team sports.
