A big contributor to holiday weight gain is the lack of activity. The key to bypassing the extra holiday weight is to make it a priority to burn some calories. Here are three examples of something you could do this holiday season to ensure you get some physical activity.

  1. Park your car further away from the store entrance than you normally would.
  2. Walk a few extra laps around the mall.
  3. Allot a specific time during the day where you can exercise for 15-20 minutes.

Get creative with these options. Think of something that you do a lot during the holiday season and try to incorporate some type of additional physical activity.
