November 22, 2007, families across the United States will celebrate Thanksgiving Day. We do this to commemorate the harvest reaped by the Plymouth Colony in 1621, after a long winter of immense hardship and starvation. The Pilgrims were joined by neighboring Indians, the Wampanoags, who joined them for three days and contributed food to the celebration.
Want to get your children involved with the Thanksgiving Day festivities? Here are some great craft ideas that are quick and easy!
